Pottery – Handbuilding Basic 2

Join us for Pottery – Hand-building 2 and continue to grow the skills you learned in Basic 1. In this class, advanced beginner students gain a deeper understanding of the clay with more complex projects. Guided by a local professional pottery artist, you will combine hand-building techniques learned previously including basic pinch, coil, slab building and glazing. Similar to Basic 1 each class is structured for you to learn and build on a technique that will be paired with a project. Projects include chip & dip platter/bowl, honey pot, and a bird house.

** Classes can be taken multiple times in order to develop the skills required to move to the next level.
