Soap Making – Hot and Cold Process

Soap is one of those things that we use everyday. It comes in a variety of forms; there are basic bar soaps, liquid soaps, dish soap and laundry soap to name a few. Many of these items sold at your local store are however not true soap, but a detergent, beauty bar or cleanser. This class series will cover how to formulate, customize and make a basic true bar soap recipe in two different methods, hot and cold process. It will also cover designing the appearance, coloring and scenting your soap. By the end of the class series you will have basic understanding of the process of soap making, a basic recipe you can build on as well as some bar soaps to use and share.
