Pottery – Wheel Thowing Basic 1

This beginning wheel throwing class is for students who have never used the potter’s wheel as well as students who are still developing their throwing skills. Participants will learn how to prep clay for wheel throwing as well as how to center, pull and push the clay on the wheel. Students will practice making basic cylinder shapes such as mugs and bowls; ultimately working towards finishing a piece.

** Classes may be taken multiple times in order to develop the skills required to move to the next level.
